==== The Union Underground ====
Begun in 1912 as the first underground newspaper and published continually in Union City for readers across the world, the Union Underground is the longest running independent newspapers in American history. The Union Underground was started by Miles Long, a long time believer in the Spiritual Movement at the turn of the century. Dissatisfied with what he saw as overly influenced publications beholden to what we today would call special interests, Miles began his own paper with independent sources.
