The VANIR are a military organization comprised of both human and [[Alfer]] soldiers from the world of [[Vanaheim]]. Years ago, the VANIR were called to defend their rebellious homeworld from attack by the [[AESIR]].  The conflicted warriors fought bravely, and at the end of the war were returned to full honorable status in [[Asgard]].
