Cave System Discovered

A team of experts recently discovered a limestone cave system on in the foothills east of Coventry thought to have been used as a refuge by the early inhabitants of the region. The team confirmed it is one of the largest cave systems in the US and extends for several miles below the shores of the Great Lakes.

Many of the caves have been found to contain petroglyphs, pictures carved into the rock.

The expedition, which began in 2018, uncovered 45 caves with a host of archaeological finds, including arrowheads, spears, axes, utensils, petroglyphs (rock engravings), and some 30 human skeletons. Cave experts, or speleologists, confirmed the caves were used by inhabitants as refuge from tribal wars at a time when society was on the verge of collapse as a result of infighting, severe environmental degradation caused by deforestation, droughts, and famine.

Suspect Kills Wife, then Self

75 FBI agents, including a SWAT team, and others from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives descended on a nondescript house in Union City last night. A family spokesman, Fran Harker, said that more than a dozen agents took Terri Frank and his wife from their home in the early hours of the morning.

Harker and his wife were charged with trading two illicitly obtained pendants for two other pendants. FBI spokesmen have refused to comment on how the suspect obtained a gun while in custody, nor on how he managed to shoot his wife before turning the gun on himself. An undisclosed source inside the FBI states that the confiscated properties have disappeared from the evidence lockers.
